I love them, too! I wanted the black one, as well, but they didn't have it in my size (only S and XL was left), so I got the white one instead! :)

It's a shame that they ripped the top white t-shirt image off Isidora! http://flickr.com/photos/antichica/461540375/

Yeah, I've already commented on that thread on Flickr... Though I've bought the shirts a week before I've read Isadora's comments.

So true, I was pretty shocked when I saw the pic of Lupita that inspired the white version tee. Wow. This happens way too often when it comes to artwork and graphics online! I remember many years back I've made these desktop wallpapers of a popular actor. Hours of work has been put into each of them though I didn't "own" the pictures/photos used. They were like art collages.
A while later this stupid eBay seller was selling them on eBay as CUSHIONS! He printed them on cushions and was auctioning them. O__O He removed the items after I sent him an angry email. He backed away because of the bad exposure/hits he could get from my site. And I think it's much, much worse when it's your own artwork and illustrations that are being used without permission.

They're indeed very cute, I especially love the blond Blythe version (I hope that one wasn't inspired by an existing doll, too!). My eyes lit up when I spotted them and I was so giddy! :)

AGH! I want one so bad but they don't have a store in the Seattle area or even Washington at all!
how much are they and do you have a picture of the third design?
I wonder if I could pay someone would buy one and mail it to me, haha.

The price for one is 14.90 EURO / 19.63 USD. Sadly I don't have the pic of the 3rd design! I did think of taking pictures at the store but I didn't have my camera with me and I'm not sure I'd be allowed to snap photos? The black version has the same Blythe as the white version I've posted here. The baby blue version (it has a bit of turquoise in it) has a Blythe with dark blue hair with bangs.

Are there Zara stores in the States? I'm not sure as I'm from Europe myself.

There are Zara stores here in the States but only in a handful of places.

Thanks for the info, I've been curious about this before. ^^ In my country Slovenia there are only 3 Zara stores but it's a tiny country (2.5 million), so 3 is quite a lot. ^^

So where is the original artwork? Did she make this exact drawing and they are using it, or did she take a picture and someone made a drawing of her picture? It looks pretty stylized to be a rip-off IMO. I am just confused as to what actually happened here. If it's just inspired, I see no problems, it looks like the artist who drew these has their own style and I don't think it's quite fair to say what an artist can or can't draw pictures of :/ At least they didn't just print the pictures on shirts, that happens all the time and is wrong, but this is something different than that and I think we are edging into dangerous territory when people can't even be inspired by something anymore. Just my 2¢ for what it's worth...

Hi, thanks for your input, I appreciate your comment! As I've said in this thread (people asked what the "original" illustration was), it wasn't an illustration that was copied but the hairstyle and red ribbon of Antichica's Blythe named 'Lupita'. Her Flick entry says that. A link to her blog is in her Flickr Profile, the photo of Lupita is on the top blog banner ( ... )

Woohoo! I'm loving this artwork! =)
I'm going to St.-Petersburg soon, dunno if there is any Zara boutique in my home town (I dress in stock shops usually - I like being unique AND spending little money on clothes), but there should be one in SPb.
I'm not a big fan of Blythe dolls, but a dolly t-shirt is a "must have" for me. :)
But the only thing that troubles me is the size of my... uhm... breasts... >_< *well... in other cases that's a point for pride and happiness ^^* But it's a true quest to find a shirt with a print that will look ok on me :(

Hehehe, yes, sizes can be such a pain sometimes! ^^ I would wear an S for certain tees but because of boobs and long arms I wear M (if an S size shrinks after washing, it's too small for me then LOL) and it's a more comfortable fit, too. I prefer to be comfortable than wear a super tight, tight shirt anyway. Sometimes I buy size L for black ruffled-sleeve styled dresses, so that they're big enough to wear with jean pants underneath (love this style). They dresses a bit over the knees and can be worn with tight jeans or leggings and then the boots... ♥ I see these particular dresses as long tunics... A very similar style, I guess!

I love doll shirts, too, they're not usually my style (these cutey illustrations, I mean) but they're popular this season and I can't say no to a Blythe shirt! :)
