Why does this fic belong in the Hall of Fame? What I love: 46,000 words that I read as fast as I possibly could because the story was so compelling and House was so very broken.
Excerpt: It’s the old Wilson and the new all at once, the helpful and the helpless. House tips his head to the side and his cheek rests on top of Wilson's head, and he hopes this closeness can be an answer, for Wilson. It's not enough for House, but it's all he has to offer.
