TODAY'S THE BLOODY DAY!!!!!11

My imagination is seriously limited today, so I literally typed 'House and Cuddy' in to Google Images and took my pick of the selection. Absolutely love this scene. One of the best moments of Season 6 as I really think House steps up to the mark for her. This is the point, IMHO, at which Cuddy really starts to second guess herself on the whole ( Read more... )

Oh good Lord, yes! Laurie and Edelstein are both outstanding in this scene. Ridiculously good.

Stand-out scene for the acting, also they both looked amazing and the shots of them are so well-framed.

sorry I'm not sure, is this the "I just want us to be friends. That's the last thing I want us to be" scene???

This is a screencap of one of my favorite House/Cuddy moment. I loved that she stayed by his side all night. I feel that she was holding his hand to reassure herself that he was ok. It was a clear example of how he meant more to her than just an employee or hospital asset. She wouldn't be at the bedside of any other employee.

I LOVE THIS. S4 Finale is still my fave.

Can you imagine House letting anyone else hold his hand? Yes, his thoughts were filled with worry over the Wilson situation and guilt over Amber. Still, he had to have felt comfortable in Cuddy's presence to allow himself to be deep in thought while she held his hand.

Yep. That's why this one is my favorite, too.

He doesn't let go.

This man, who can be so prickly, so painfully distant, with a startle reflex a mile wide - allows her to hold his hand, and doesn't let go.

For him, that's as good as seeking her out and clinging to her, you know?

I *adore* how the symbolism of hand-holding is woven throughout this series, for these characters.

I loved every single House/Cuddy interaction in this episode.

House basically stalking Cuddy. Him not liking that she brought that guy home with her. Or when he asked the guy what he did for a living, and the look on his face when he realized the guy was very successful. It was like House wanted to show the guy up.

Cuddy coming to life whenever she interacted with him.

Who can forget the smile on House's face at the end after his talk with Cuddy? You just knew from that smile that he wasn't going to follow Cuddy's advice and get over her.

I always love the way he stalks her, because that's House's way to be caring. I watched the other day "Forever" and flailed at the part where he says he monitores her periods
