Our fosters have to have names before they can go to the vet -- it's also needed for the adoption contracts. We know they'll be changed 90% of the time, so we can have fun with them. Two of my first fosters were brothers named Vincent and Van Gogh. The reasoning was b/c they'd been trapped in a feral colony and ear-tipped when they were neutered as part of a TNR program. It wasn't until their post-op recovery that the rescuer could evaluate their personality to see if they could be rehabbed. Of course, Van Gogh got adopted alone and Vincent got adopted with his sister Veronica, so it wasn't nearly as witty at that point... lol
They are adorable and I love the one with orange on its face. It's nice of you to do the interview and give them some more profile. Non profits need all the help they can get and even something like an article in your paper might get people to bring them donations of kitty food, bedding or money.
