What an clever metaphor for life quilting is. Well, the piecework, anyhow. The right side is the part of ourselves that we let people see every day, and the wrong side is the inner, more accurate part of ourselves. If we show ourselves responsible with little things, like making sure that our pieces are properly cut and the thread is properly cut and our work is neat, our wrong side has all the beauty of the right side, and then some. I love the wonder of how things and people are put together.
I delight in how the precision of a made item speaks of the meticulous care given to each action; and i love the present, prayerful attenion given to the nuances present in its creation.
Aw. Sorry for gettin' all schmoopsy on ya. Well done, good and faithful servant.
