Ronan knew full well what day it was. In fact, he'd made sure to get up early and start cooking, just in case. Hey, if he didn't have any kids show up, he could always share the food with kids of people who had.
Anyone walking by 33 Apocalypse on Saturday morning, though, would see a new sign affixed near the front door:

"Why should I knock? You knock."
"Because I was here first!"
"Nuh-uh. I was totally here before you were. You've never been to Fandom before, remember? And I have!"
"I mean I got to here first this time. And anyway, your face is stupid."
"Tell that to Dad, he gave it to me."
Ronan? Someone was outside. Well, two someones.
"Oh, hey, I think he's cooking!"
"Duh, have you met our Dad?"

Give him a moment and he'll even remember which two you are.
"Peach, right? And Caled?"
Reply
Caled rolled his eyes and pushed around his ersatz brother. "I'm Caled, he's Peach, we're hungry. Our portal had a layover in IKEA. IKEA. And neither of us had local currency for meatballs."
Sighing, Peach followed Caled inside. "Yeah, and whose fault is that? You're the one who spent it in video game world."
"Yeah, but I-"
"On Tetris."
"Tetris is awesome!"

Whoever decided to throw these two together? Genius or madness. Ronan wasn't sure which.
"And I'll see about meatballs for supper."

"I don't mean to bother you," he called in, a French accent dancing about his voice. "this may be an odd question, but do you know a Jack Priest?"
He eyed the food hungrily. Teenage boys...

"We're acquainted," he explained, grinning. "Went to school together, still visit sometimes. You're one of his, then?"
He waved Felix in. "C'mon, you hungry?"

There were going to have to be some phonecalls later, yes.

The sign caught Victoria's attention and she grinned. Mom and Dad might not be around but she was pretty sure that sign meant another familiar face was.
Without hesitation she orbed herself into the house. Specifically, the kitchen.
A shimmer of sparkly lights announced her arrival, followed quicky by a loud "Uncle Ronan!!! I'm here!!"
"What's for breakfast?"
[And now I go poof till about 1:30 or so.]

He was at least 50% guessing, but, hey, whatever worked, right?

She darted across the room to give one her favorite uncles a quick hug.
"Where are my mom and dad?"
Reply
"But I'll call them in a minute. I'm sure they'll orb over to see you just as soon as they hear you're here." He considered for a moment. "Or, if they can't, it'll be because they're doing something really important to keep you and everyone else safe, right?"

"Look, see, we found it," Betty said with a huff. She was red in the face, but she was red pretty much everywhere. "We found stupid Dr. Flame's house, just like we're supposed to. Go say hi to your stupid dad, and now I'm going to go find mine, okay?"
While they were only on the porch, Betty's voice had a tendency to carry...

"Look, we had plans for this sort of thing for a reason," she said. "Daddy and dad knew exactly how likely this was. Just because my dad is easier to find doesn't mean our mutual father isn't here. You are such a daddy's girl it is ridic--"
"Shut up!" Betty cut off her sister. "I am not, and you know it. Look, just because your dad is..." She pointed to the sign. "Look, just because he's all super up on things doesn't mean he's better than--"
"Oh, here we go again," Pandora said with a sigh. "I don't know why you insist on having this stupid argument all the time."
"Don't call me stupid!" Betty shouted.
"I didn't," Pandora pointed out, looking half-amused and only a little annoyed. "You know I didn't. I called your argument stupid, which it is. Nothing about you."
Reply
"So which one of you is mine?" he asked, smiling softly, as he opened the door. "Although you're both more than welcome to come in and have some breakfast."
[Agh, I totally fell asleep for, like, two hours. Maybe three. Something.]

"I am," Pandora said, perking up a bit at the sight of her father. "Don't mind Betty, she's just... she's Betty. She warms up to people around after lunch, usually."
"I do not," Betty argued.
"You do too," Pandora said. "I suppose I have to tell you who I am, don't I?"

She could have used magic, but it would've been frivolous.
"Dai stiho, Dad!" she called from the front porch.

No, he didn't know offhand who it was -- but there were only so many people who'd use that particular greeting.

She handed him some flowers she'd gotten from the side of the road. "Feeeeeed me. I just got back from Crossings and then the portal diverted me here."
Reply
Yeah, Ronan was never going to call him Michael.
"And Caled's here again, too."
