I'm not sure what I dislike more as an intro post to the Nexus: the infamous "Where am I?" or the irritating "Where's *Character From My Canon To Whom I Am Closely Attached*?" I can understand them both being in-character, but they're terrible for interaction.

Well, I suppose you could always tag with "Uhhh, WTF are you talking about?" but that's not really a shining example of fun, really.

There was a brief period where we didn't get 'Where Am I' for a little while because everyone kindasorta agreeed to hold to the idea tht the sign was Just That Informative. But unfortunately, it didn't last.

Yeah, nowadays public opinion seems to be that the Sign just says something like, "ASK A QUESTION, BITCH."
