If this would've been our team for the WC, I'd be worried. But since it isn't... we won! :D We kinda sucked, but we won!

And I really like this new model of shirt. I hated the previous one, and besides, this is kinda similar to the Mexico '86 model. hint hint :P

These seem like mostly younger players, or guys who have not been called up before, except for a couple of veterans. Nobody from Europe. They did good for what they were.

Yeah, they are totally rocking that shirt! I like the darker colour of blue much better than the other one as well. It looks really good. :)

I think I was the only one that had fun during that game =P. I mean, we didn't played our best (and I'm ignoring how my captain got hurt at minute 2 ¬¬), but it was - well, it was fun. And I was glad to see both José Sosa and Franco Jara score ♥.

also and because I'm minding business that aren't mine but in a comment up there you say that Maradona didn't call anyone from Europe - I don't know if you know, but that's the point of this NT. It's called "la seleccion local" and therefore only calls players that are currently playing in the country :) /random

Oh no, I thank you for pointing that out! It is true, I didn't know about "la seleccion local" this time around. Actually, I confess I didn't know about this game at all until the last minute. I am so glad they won, then, because it would have been embarrassing if Costa Rica had beat them.
