For me the FB/twitter thing was just a mild annoyance, and I found it kinda interesting to see the uproar among users. But one thing it did do was make me nervous about what possible changes may be coming down the road. Not just with this site, but with the internets in general. I don't think it's something the average user has to worry about. I'm just concerned that my real (and unusual) name has been associated with this journal. So, figured better safe than sorry.

Locked like me and me alone locked. Not deleted but "Private". The deed is done. I'm just trying to go back now and clean up the various communities. But, I think that will take some time.

You're doing the comms too? Up to you, of course, but I wonder If that's maybe a little over-cautious? Have you tried a google search to see what happens? If that's what you wanna do though, I can always help make it a little less time If you want me to do e_l for you. I'm pretty sure I should be able to delete/lock those posts for you If you want.

I'm not so much worried about the average person finding this stuff. It's more corporate background check software and such. I think I might be shocked at what they can find. And if they wouldn't see it now, maybe in the future, and if never *shrug* at least I have a clear conscience.
