hi, i'm not dead.

i've been very busy and have been spending more time on final fantasy fandom these last few months, but this isn't what i'm writing about today.  i just want to tell you all that in light of the recent scandal i possibly won't write yoochun as a character for a very long time.  maybe never.

to be honest, i wasn't even able to watch ( Read more... )

!not fic

I'm sure everyone understands.
I don't care that some idols drink, smoke, sleep around or even do drugs because we all know their public image is carefully constructed and probably quite different from their real personality.
Some things are a deal breaker however, and hitting a fangirl is definitely one of them :(
I don't want to read fics featuring Yoochun anymore so I can imagine for an author it's a hundred times worse.

that's exactly what i think. violence isn't just a flaw, and it bothers me that people are excusing him over the fact that "idols have flaws, they're human too" because a woman actually got hit and that just crosses a big huge line in my book.
thank you, though. it's nice to know someone feels the same.

I also can't read fics that includes him. I'm so, so disappointed. I feel like somebody took something special from me.
He did a very, very big mistake. But, I don't know... I watched the video about 10 times. I can honestly say, I didn't see him hitting her, but I saw his hand on her head. Did he pulled her hair? But why he didn't made a fist? Did he already explain what really occurred? If he doesn't say anything, it means he is guilty, ne? And if he is, it's the end of JYJ for me:(

Heyy there. Although the incident has been awhile now but I've only just come across your LJ and this post of yours. I don't honestly know if ur still into JYJ but I feel like I would like to share what I read of that incident with u (hopefully we're referring to the same incident). A fan..no, sasaeng really actually slapped him and wanted to do it again, his hands were there because he pushed her away. I've watched that vid in slow mo quite awhile ago to know that. Yoochun and Jae have done their fair shair of faults but in this situation, Yoochun really did not hit the girl. It doesn't matter if you're not a fan of him (or JYJ) anymore, but I hope that it helps to clear up some of the misunderstanding.

Cheers.
