So life has currently decided that it would be cool to completely harden me so that emotions are not something I can understand. I know I can always put on a smile and act all happy, but deep down, I feel like Im dying. I dont want to, but I am. too many things have gone wrong lately...I guess they arent really wrong, since they happened, and ( Read more... )

I know the feeling....you go through the day, only half paying attention to what youre saying....not really meaning anything you say. only smiling and laughing to keep others from asking you too many questions. Im sorry Lauren, I wish I could help, but I dont know how.

So that sounds like how I cope with stuff. I'm not going to tell you that what you feel (or don't) is wrong or bad for you. I know that it is not a choice you make, it just happens. But I will till you to be careful to not let yourself be consumed by these events. You are a wonderful person and I would hate to lose you to the insanity that insues from hiding all of your emotions. Just remeber that I, and many other people are always here for you. Even if you feel totally lost and helpless and can't come to anyone. Take solstice in the fact that people do care about you and will never leave you to fall into internal darkness.

If you don't like putting on a fake mask, then don't. Your friends don't love you for your hyperness and whatnot, but for you. And if they do, then maybe they aren't really your true friends. Everyone has their ups and downs, but just think about it this way. If life is going terribly wrong, imagine how good it will feel when something good comes along. Just be hopeful for that something good.

as long as you keep telling yourself things happen for a reason they will. and the reason will never hit you in the face unless you hit back. my advice- go after it because it can only get better.

oh Lauren my love!
I'm so glad that you, unlike most people, have accepted the things that have happened as for an important reason. Not too many people can see that. And life is pretty much like a roller coaster ( a really cheesy metaphor, but hey! it works).
Florist, don't hurt yourself by keeping these things in for too long. Let it all out with your friends and/or family. Remember, people won't be able to help you if you don't help them understand what's wrong. I love you to the ends of the galaxy and back!!!
We must get together soon!!!
