I just got an e-mail from the Medical Examiner about the poor gentleman who died. The autopsy found a broken neck and a broken wrist. It didn't say how high the cervical fracture was, but the ME indicated that it was a quick death. I hope so. The ME also said that this case bothers him a bit. Me, too. It just goes to show how quickly things can change, and how delicate life is. My heart goes out to his family, who lost a father far too soon.
