The only word I have is: Yay!

I am flailing! Just flailing! If it weren't so insufferably hot (I was assured it never got this hot on the California coastline -- scandalous lies, apparently) I'd be literally flailing around the room and scaring the cat. As it is, my mind is a lovely jumble. My happiness: let me show you it...

To begin, Atlantis Big Bang finally went live, ( Read more... )

Thank you! :) It's very, very cool to have it done and out there and done. ;P

Well, it is a Fairy-tale AU and very S2, I think. *grins coyly* But... I totally know how it is to just not have an interest in an old fandom and its characters. So take your time. It's not going anywhere! :D

Congratulations! Definitely checking out your story (and the accompanying art) when I can find some time.

Thank you! :D

And I would definitely recommend peeking at the art when you have a chance (not nearly as long *g*). I'm really amazed by both artists and neither work is spoiler-y, imo.

Hurrah! I look forward to reading this once I've finished with my big bang story. And you're right about the artwork being gorgeous.

The lovely thing is the story will be there -- so take your time. I'm freshly aware of how consuming big bangs are. ;D

And you're right about the artwork being gorgeous.

Wasn't it awesome? I was so, so pleased. :)

Forgive the random comment but I've just come from AO3 and your wonderful big bang. I just have to say that it was an absolutely fabulous and *engrossing* read. One of those stories that is deliciously satisfying. When you get to the last word and look back on where you started, it's at once both amazing how far the story has brought you and yet strangely hard to let it go. Such a wonderful job with the details and the depth of the tale making it both strangely familiar in a grimm story kind of way but still uniquely SGA and yours. Sprinkled with whimsy and still utterly horrifying at parts (I'm totally with Ronon on looking away - from my laptop - during the second feeding). Fabulous job all around.

Forgive?!? No, thank you for your random comment! :D Your reactions are exactly what I was hoping to give readers, so I'm incredibly pleased to hear from you.

(I really did put poor John through the wringer. My excuse is that the more he suffered under the Wraith's control, the less he'll punish himself now that he's freed. At least... that's what I told myself as I wrote.)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. :)
