Mom did a great job. She is exhausted but fine. Max is big, pink, and cranky. He has a bit of a fever and a slight rattle in his chest, so they took him to the NICU and he will be on antibiotics for a while. Everybody seems confident he will be able to go home in a few days.

So I went in for my Ragweed study today and it turns out I'm not allergic to, well, Ragweed. I'll be darned. So I guess it's one of the 3,645,021 nasty allergens out there that's making me so miserable. On the plus side, that does mean I can start taking my drugs again. I'm so taking 15 Benadryls tonight and going into a drug-induced coma.

Happy Anniversary to my darling wife. Kinda nice to have one that does not involve piles of wet canvas!
