ETA: No clue why this posted twice, but clearly it did. At any rate, my computer is back and tonight will be the big test to see if it's trojan-free. Fingers crossed!

The DSL is working, but not the WiFi. Or, more specifically, the WiFi seems to be operational but password protected, and I have no clue what the password is.

n0thingman will be stopping by to offer tech support tomorrow. I'm super annoyed that this whole process is as complicated as it is.

Holy cats, this sucks.

I'll try to upload some more videos while I'm at work today. I'm so fucking frustrated that I can't really upload the rest of my reunion pictures. Oh, and apparently the wifi at work gets turned off at 9:00 pm, so no staying late to post to LJ.

I just love it when everything around me disintegrates.

I was looking for a screwdriver in the cash office cabinet today. Long story short: I'm not sure if it was a lamp, or a hammer, or a bottle of soy lubricant, but something fell off the top shelf of the cabinet and gave me a good whack in the eye ( Read more... )

I found most of the missing emails. It seems to be some sort of glitch with AOL 9.1; I remembered I had an old AOL 9.0 disk, reinstalled it, and everything worked as expected.

However, somehow what got saved was an old version from the last time my computer died. That means all of my emails from January through last week are still gone, which is ( Read more... )
