Annapolis: Day 3

Good morning and welcome to still more travel photos. I kind of loved yesterday. The idea that I could wake up in suburban Annapolis, have dinner in DC, and sleep in my bed in Pittsburgh. Now, home, with the cats beside me, let's try to get caught up on photos:

I visited Annapolis a few times in the 90s, when my ex and I would be in that area to visit with some of her family. It's a great little city. If not for the heavily meat-oriented emphasis of the menu, I would've suggested that you try a place called Chick & Ruth's, somewhere near the Naval Academy, which is a feel-good sort of restaurant that's been around for a very long time. Great fries and milkshakes.

We pondered lunching in downtown Annapolis yesterday, but I had my heart set on driving up to DC and having lunch at Jyoti -- probably not so much because I love Jyoti in particular as that I love DC, and I've had a pleasant lunch or two at Jyoti in the past.

We did grab a coffee and an Orangina at Hard Bean Coffee, tho.
