About three and a half years ago, I lost my Antioch class ring.

Today a random person on Facebook emailed to tell me that she found it, and has had it all this time.

She found me because we have two friends in common. One -- Amy -- is an old friend of mine from Youth Cry. The other -- Sara -- is actually someone that I don't know, but we ( Read more... )

She asked the two people she knew who had the same last name as me (my name is written inside the ring) if they knew who I was but they didn't, and her search just kind of ended there. I put up some signs in Squirrel Hill but obviously she missed them.

That goes *waaaaaaay* back. I might have seen you back then, but didn't know who you were.

I went to a couple city-wide meetings; I had Brooke Smokelin of Baldwin help me start up a chapter at Bethel. Don't know whether it was functioning after I graduated, but we had 5-8 members, one of whom I met up with in DC last year for much drinking.

I remember Brooke Smokelin distinctly. I think we were both on the committee that made all the fliers and leaflets. I'm pretty sure I have her email address lying around somewhere, if you require it. :)
