Folks may or may not know that I have issues with claustrophobia. Friends from my raver days (and especially n0thingman and lurpy) may recall the issues I had when we would stand in those tightly packed lines only to make our way into those tightly packed venues. Yea, I'm pretty sure I picked it up from Drugstore Cowboy. It's a great fucking movie. I know I own a copy. I should watch it again.

I'm enjoying the CD immensely. I even got one of those postable CD-thingies with a cassette attachment so I could listen to it in the car without having to copy it to a cassette first. And I wish your friend's recording was clearer -- I'd really like to be able to hear your words, you know?

I haven't made it through the whole CD yet, but am slowly but surely getting there. Thanks ever so.

Oh, and the link I provided offers some possible explanations for the origin of the superstition. Upon checking with google, it seems that the most common origin given is that keeping hats off of beds was an effort to stem the spread of lice.
