"Contact" skeeves me out too. Glad to hear they snipped it.

My family also made me certifiably insane. I coped by chugging wine and passing out on the couch while watching "Godfather II".
Two days in California is all I can take. Today was miserable. Thank god I'm leaving tomorrow, or I'd start running the cats down or something.

Well, in the live show, "Contact" was useful for the death of Angel and the breakups of everyone else. In the movie it wasn't so necessary.
