Hey Hope. I'm sorry about the death of your friend. Sounds like you've had a rough day all around and I'm sure the hormones of Aunt Flo don't help either.
Why are you being sued?
Michael listening to Irish music reminds me of my dad. Does he like bagpipes too?)

Is because I got into the bad mortgage and my house payment is so high that I haven't been able to pay my other bills. I always make house payment first priority because I am afraid of losing my house. This is a credit card that has gone delinquent.
No bagpipes, thank goodness. Most of the irish music we have been listening to is a mix tape my friend Susan made for me YEARS ago, that Michael just discovered. It has a bunch of different artists - mixture of traditional and modern irish.
I can't believe the CC company is suing you. Crap! Are you sure it's not just a collection agency blowing smoke? They like to try to scare the crap out of people. I'm sorry things aren't going better for you... ((((hugs))))
Oh, the Statute of Limitations on that kind of debt in IN is six years. Anything older than that and they have no legal right to come after you. If they get a judgment, that lasts for 20 years.

No, it's not smoke. It's a letter from a local lawyer, from a credit card on a local bank and they have tried to work with me and I just had to tell them house payment has to come first. It's really bad right now. I am embarrassed to admit this stuff "out loud."
