Found THIS, at random. Made night. Made world. The end.

BIG NOTE (in case the link gets fed back in some way and someone raises an eyebrow): I am not being sarcastic in this entry. I am truly, genuinely, holy-shit-really-cracking-up-at-the-computer-screen amused, and not at all irritated or ready to throw a fit. I think this is one of the funniest ( Read more... )

Oh, god, no, the beginning sucked horribly. When I would get a new reader, even I would tell them to at least skip to chapter 100, because that's when -- sadly, yeah, took me *that* long -- I finally got an idea of what I was doing and writing and wasn't making Hope so quite unbearable.

And, please, it's fanfiction. If we didn't create a Mary-Sue at times, whether on purpose for fun or out of pure inexperience and obliviousness, we'd probably be kicked out of the club.

Admittedly, I've always wondered what a parody of my story would look like, so the fact that I not only stumbled upon one but also found it displaying some of the worst evidence of my story (yeah, really bad at the beginning there, I know), was truly hilarious for me. It was like being granted a rite of passage of some kind; I've had way too many people tell me how great Collisions and Hope is, far too willingly and all without admitting that, indeed, most if not all of the creation was, simply put, rough, so reading your-- heh-- review was a breath of fresh air.

So, thank you for taking the time to put it together! And I'm glad you found improvement in my later works. Had I not improved any from that horrible example you displayed, even *I* would have sporked myself.
