I'm taking a stab at making a t-shirt quilt for my parents for Christmas.  My sewing experience is limited to costuming, so this is new.  The internet instructions look remarkably easy, and the early stages (interfacing on t's, cut 18" squares) seems to be going smoothly.  Anybody out there have any experience with this and have any advice or ( Read more... )

Seriously, I want to add friends (friends are good), but until I figure out all the doo-dads on this site, can all my new friends just drop a quick "Hi Hope, it's [blah]." Otherwise my paranoia about students finding me outside of school will trump all other concerns.

So, I don't intend to use this often, but we'll see how long that lasts, since I was previously claiming I would never join livejournal or similar.... I do know that if I start actually writing, the above intention will not last long, so this is it (for now?).
