I like your new shelf! :) And those googly eyed trees. :) The one you made me is on my dresser in my bedroom. :)

yes, make it! i'd love to see it.

no, i didn't make the rabbit costume, i bought it off thevalleyofthedolls.com, i think they might have it at thisisblythe.com and i'm positive you could find something similar on etsy.

the clothes on gossip girl are pretty amazing. i wish there were blogs for all the characters.

i haven't gotten the package yet! hopefully it will still turn up. do you remember what type of mail you sent it by? you may have sent it the slower way, which means it might not get here for 2 months or so.

yep, no worries. considering the number of packages i have sent out and received, not that many ever got lost.

Kay Nielsen's pictures are gorgeous, and they remind me a lot of John Bauer's fairy tale art.

I've actually just read somewhere that Kay Nielsen apparently listed John Bauer as one of her main inspirations!

Oh man, that George Will column is hy-fricking-sterical. You'd think the man had been in suspended animation for, oh, the past three decades or so. Do you think he would go into conniptions if he realized that men in that golden age of fashion before the French Revolution were wearing hose, lace, and high heels, none of which I can recall seeing on Fred Astaire?

i'm sure george will feels the homosexual panic!

Yay for the chick and the cat and all the crafts. Bean is still carrying around her softies with her everywhere she goes. A friend gave her a Marilyn Monroe handbag with little separate compartments and she keeps one softie in each compartment.

I tried to send you photos last weekend in a zip file but the file was too large and never went through. I'll try again this weekend.

Yay for crafts!!! Yours are SO FABULOUS. Also I have to tell you the story of the renegade chick hat. Maybe I'll write it down this weekend.

This post made me happy. thanks!

aw, that is so cute! i definitely want to hear the story of the renegade chick hat. my original plan was to make lots of hats for the chick but i kind of ran out of time. maybe someday.

i'm glad i cheered someone up.

I forgot to tell you that the Blythes also go with her everywhere and also have their own compartment in the Marilyn bag. We love ALL YOUR CRAFTS. Every single one.

heh, i didn't make anything on the blythes, but i'm so glad she likes them too. i was a little afraid she'd be creeped out by them because kids generally don't seem to like blythe.

i'm sure i'll be inspired to make her another package soon!
