i buy plants and try not to kill them all. one of them is out on my "balcony" (fire escape) right now to try to get it more sunlight and also so i don't have to look at it if it's actually dying.

jonah's mom gave us a plant for some reason, she was really obsessed by the fact that we don't have any. it isn't even by a window, but supposedly spider plants don't need that much light . . .

ooooh i should get spider plants. they're hard to kill!

haha yes. jonah had an aloe plant in college, which is a cactus, and his roommate's mom killed it by watering it too much. i also almost killed my plant by watering it too much. we are not plant people.

Dissociative fugues are generally a stress reaction, if I recall. Yoga! *hugs* Yoga and hugs. *nod*

I want to splatter paint on things now.

aw, thanks for the virtual hugs! yeah, it's totally a stress reaction, but a really freaky one. maybe i will develop multiple personalities! that would be awesome, or actually it wouldn't be awesome at all.

"gunned down her teddy bear in front of her... ." I totally laughed at work.

I also totally know what you mean about being disassociated from yourself. I've been rocking that all week. It's ridiculous.

I get that spaceout forget who I am thing a lot when I'm stressed out. Its kind of yr brains power down in a way and its like an automated meditation if a bit freaky.

1. I really hate this cycle of ANTM, but watch it anyway [of course].
2. I really don't get the appeal of Allison & I don't find her look unique.
3. Natalie's scrunchy face along w/ her conceitedness annoy me a great deal. However, she has great boobs.
4. I don't like Celia [esp. after being a snitch], but she is a fucking style icon who looks just as good rocking men's fashion.
5. Model-wise, I have faith in Fo.

1. oh, i do that too. i haven't really liked any cycle since the one with natasha and renee. that might have been the last fun one.

2. i think she has a following among perverts - she's winning the online cw poll by a huge amount (i think she has 75% of the vote) because she used to be on 4chan a lot. i think she posted in the supernatural forums. also some photos of her leaked before the cycle which made her look super freaky. but yeah, she's like a less attractive gemma doyle.

3. i noticed everyone has really big tits this season, regardless of their size in other areas.

4. sadly, celia is the only one i actually like/care about.

5. fo is probably the hottest. i wonder if she'll win.

1. I agree. Last cycle was crushingly disappointing. this one was doomed from the beginning.
2. hahaha, when you put in that perspective. Creepiness all around.
3. As a guy, I have no objection to this [not that that's the only thing I care about]. However, I'm sure Tyra now feels a little less alone.
4. Let's just say I wouldn't mind if she made the top 2.
5. Possibly. I don't put anything past that judging panel though.

i thought london was one to watch, but it seems like the judges hate her. so i think top three will tentatively be fo, celia, and a wild card third position . . . whoever will place third. i guess it could be anyone but aminat or london? who the fuck knows.

i actually stopped watching and recapping this one season, i can't even remember . . . it was the one with dominique.

I didn't look to see if anyone else responded to this, but I can try to find Lula here in DC for you if you don't have it yet -- I bought a copy at the downtown B&N a couple of weeks ago and they had several, just sort of shoved into the back of the shelf. I guess it doesn't sell as well here in the land of Banana Republic? :D

ah, okay, I know that so many people have had a hard time finding the latest one! I've been on the hunt for older ones, too -- I have #1 and #2, and then just the last one that just came out. I think a bunch came out when I was in grad school and couldn't afford the splurge!

they have some on ebay, but they are all like $150 and i was hoping to find someone who would sell a cheaper one, maybe one that was a little banged up.
