sometimes i like to fantasize that every actor in the world is really in one giant movie, and every actor/movie is connected in some way. for example, kumar from harold & kumar ended up changing his name to kutner, graduated from med school, and took a job from gregory house where he regularly electrocutes either himself or hapless patients. Ha, that's kind of why I HATE IT when people play multiple roles on the same show. (Law and Order has a lot of recurring actors... the one girl has played about three crazy people on SVU, and the one LAWYER originally debuted as a bad guy ( ... )

ha, i remember when one of the stars of star trek: voyager had had a similar guest role on the next generation and it drove me freakin' crazy.

brad dourif? are you thinking of brad dourif? though he mostly plays the creepy guy (he was wormtongue in lord of the rings and one of the inmates in one flew over the cuckoo's next. actually, he was also in voyager, now that i think about it).

i can't watch raising the bar because it stars mark-paul whatever-his-name is from saved by the bell and HIS HAIR IS AWFUL. i cannot look at it.

well, i think kumar and thirteen look too young to be doctors working under house . . .

OH LORD, that's who that is? No wonder I instantly hated him. AUGH NO PROFESSIONAL PERSON WOULD HAVE HAIR LIKE THAT.

They do look pretty young, but at least there ARE OLDER PEOPLE floating around. I can pretend they're just really smart like Doogie Howser! (Or me, if I wanted to be a doctor!) A lot of the newer shows appear to have a cast entirely comprised of smooth-skinned teenagers.

Particularly these specialty-skill shows... the last time I checked, being a heart surgeon took a few years of training.

i knowwwwwwwwwwwww. i wish there was some way to socialize or get things done WHILE SLEEPING. someone should get on that.

Oh sweet! It could be like, you know, the people who play video games a lot? Or "Second Life" ? We could just work while asleep.

Of course, I get the feeling my sleep-projects would involve a lot of space monsters and random pirates and things.
