sometimes i like to fantasize that every actor in the world is really in one giant movie, and every actor/movie is connected in some way. for example, kumar from harold & kumar ended up changing his name to kutner, graduated from med school, and took a job from gregory house where he regularly electrocutes either himself or hapless patients.

I think you can get to Saw from either The Crush or Shadow of the Vampire without too much difficulty.

It took me five minutes to remember the title of the movie even though I could recall the entire plot, so you're not alone.

I've never used a heated eyelash curler; regular ones work fine for me. You might need a lash perm if your lashes are so straight you have trouble seeing, but that's rather extreme. I think Sephora has a cheapish own-brand heated curler and they have an awesome return policy, so maybe look there.
