i bet most of you have seen this . . . someone made an entire pirate ship out of meat.

i don't think this is something anyone would have attempted before the internet.

um, i think they ate PART of it. but, it was 17,000 calories, so i'm sure a lot of meat was left over. i like to think of it as a sacrifice.

I can't help thinking how much more appetizing that would have looked if it had been cooked. (Assuming it's meant to look appetizing, that is).

it is cooked at the end, i think you can see it in the video. it kind of got all shriveled.

Baum didn't even wait until the later Oz books to start that. The village of china people was at the end of The Wizard of Oz. I've managed to mostly block the second book from my memory.

yeah, i don't even remember, it's been so long since i read them. i do remember one of the books (the fifth?) is pretty much nothing BUT descriptions of such villages.
