here are supposedly the most amusing/unintentionally funny parts of the remake of the wicker man. oh dear.

i am seeing the original at the AFI on saturday! yay! also going to alexander's new play, in which he is caligula. should be fun times. even if a reviewer did compare him to zach braff. in what world is that a compliment?

Now I don't have to sit through it in full. Thank you! I liked the bit where he stole the bicycle at gunpoint, though. They seem to have left out all the convincing pagan stuff that made the original so excellent.

Now I'm going to waste some time wondering who would win in a fight between Nicholas Cage in a bear suit and Christopher Lee in a frock.

i think christopher lee would win. after all, he is saruman AND a vampire.

I remember seeing that a couple months ago. It is just so incredibly ridiculous it makes me almost curious to watch the movie (though I hear it's TERRIBLE, so I probably won't really). O_o
