Tony had paused in his work on a gauntlet long enough to listen to the
announcements. He closed his eyes, rubbing at his eyes with the hand that was least filthy from work.
Just another week on the island.
He did not have enough caffeine in his system to deal with this right now. He could pencil in that burgeoning moral crisis for later.

"Is that an offer to bring me coffee, Lex?" he asked, shoulders and neck cracking as he stretched.

Lex held up a handful of single serve sachets of instant. "The common room's finest," he said wryly. "I could get you the real stuff at the Perk, but it'd be cold by the time I got it back here."

Tony snorted. "At this point I'd probably eat the grounds for the caffeine I could get."

He hesitated at Tony Stark's door. Any version of Tony was a bit of a wild card, but this one seemed like he had his head on straight -- even if Topher didn't like him much. He poked his head in.
"Hey," he said. "What are you working on?"
