This is wonderful, and I've always thought Hurt was a perfect theme song for Dean.

I never thought about this song in relation to Dean before I went searching for a title. Now, I can't hear it as anything but Dean's theme song - at least the last couple seasons. (((Dean)))

That was fantastic and I loved it from start to finish. I hope you will find many more stories to tell and I have to selfishly say that I hope they will continue to be Gen. There is plenty of slash to be had but Gen fic that is this good is a true rarity.
I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing.

This was absolutely beautiful, heartbreaking, and utterly perfect. It had me riveted from beginning to end.

And of course Dean would find a way to make it right, and save Sam too. Of course he would. That's our Dean. <3
