Today's topic, per gehayi: Books/TV shows/movies I wanted to like, but didn't, and why.

Not a big list of these. Well, maybe in some respects. I'll often go into something with hopes, but am seldom disgruntled for long if I'm disappointed. We'll go with a small, but pertinent, sampling.

Yup! Reminds me of "Special Unit 2." GREAT cheesy tv show I'm hoping will be on DVD someday. I loved it!

I totally understand; emotion will trump cheese every time for me . . . but if the emotion isn't there it doesn't matter how good the book/movie/show is otherwise. This is disconcerting, since I always thought of myself as a plot-driven girl in the past, but live'n'learn, I guess.
