Atticus is an immortal Druid who's mostly interested in avoiding troublemaking fae and gods, but keeps getting swept up in their problems anyway. Oberon is the wolfhound he has a mental bond with, who is very smart, but also very much a dog. I find him delightful. The Iron Druid books are pretty good, though I have a feeling Atticus would rub you the wrong way. But if you're interested in Irish mythology, you might give the first book, Hounded, a read.
I'm on a Discworld kick lately, myself. I've got three half-finished fics on my hard drive.
This is a fun meme! I enjoyed reading your answers.
If you wrote a One/Six/Twelve fic, what would the warnings be? Harry Dresden/Zoe Washburne/Sherlock Holmes? "Time-travel weirdness, cursing in Chinese, gratuitous pop-culture references, investigative dick-measuring (literal and figurative), CRAAAACK!"
HA! I've only read the first two Dresden files books, but I would read the hell out of this fic. Zoe would have a lot to curse in Chinese about when dealing with those two guys.

Also, Harry Dresden is nagging me to write a crossover. Actually, several. Like I don't have enough to do.
