Doctor Who is baaaaack!

I enjoyed tonight's episode in a way I haven't enjoyed the show for the past two seasons. First, I love JLC as Clara. She reminds me so much of Billie Piper in S1 (new skool); I don't catch her *acting*. She's just *being* Clara. Second, I have a new OTP: Professor/Emma. Dougray Scott! I'd be thrilled, *thrilled*, if the Bad Wolf was somehow responsible for Clara, because she didn't want the Doctor to be alone. Actually, that seems like a possibility: one thing New!Who has been very, very good about is tying into a million and one other twists and turns from across the series as a whole.
