That was--you guys, seriously! I mean, totally, it was just *makes flappy hands* and *squeals at frequency only dogs can hear*! You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, those two Hulk moments made me burst out in laughter too... I was still giggling about them after we got back home. When Coulson died, though, I almost cried.
I'm still flailing about it a day later, and have already made plans to go see it again on Tuesday. Joss Whedon outdid himself on this, and he needs to direct more movies like, now!
Steve definitely needs hugs, but I'm afraid we'll have to go to the end of a long, long line of volunteers in order to give him one.
I wasn't expecting to like Natasha as much as I did. I generally don't find SJ that compelling and kind of eyerolled at her in IM2. In this movie, though? Yeah, I was feeling her.
I caught the "quim" thing, too, and thought the same as you did. But then, Joss is also the guy who featured Spike giving the British bird to the camera in the gorram opening credits of BtVS for two straight seasons.
The Steve Hugging Booth will sell many tickets, 'tis true.
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by her too since this time she felt like so much more than fanboy service or The Token Woman. In IM2 she was just kind of...there and being all stereotype-tropey.
I don't know how many people understood "quim" in my theater since it's either a.) archaic or b.) British to most Americans. I mean, in context you're pretty sure it's gotta be an insult but I don't think they fully understand he basically called her a cunt.
You raise a good point with Spike, though. Joss really is a master of stealth. ;)
Thor is win. Although after Liam Hemsworth in THG I kept mentally going, "It's Blond!Gale?!"

Yeah that line didn't get much of a reaction in my theater except from me (English major). I gasped and was affronted and looked around me like, did he seriously just say that? You can't say that!
I kinda saw a Captain America/Widow thing happening, since the chick he loved is old/dead/gone and ... ScarJo (as you put it) kind of reminded me of his previous flame. Or was that just me. I think the Hawkeye/Widow thing was just a work/debt thing. Or again, was that just me?
No, I was feeling that too. Or maybe I was just confused by his chivalry toward her. Srsly I squeed when he protected her with himself and his shield when something was falling on them. omg I want one.
My theater was laughing too hard to catch Hulk's line to Loki, but I guessed it was along the lines of tiny or puny. And the look on Loki's face afterwards was just... hilarious and perfect.

Thor is just . . . lovely.
We're friends now, btw. 'Bout time, what?
