Fat lot of good it does me. No friggin' WB in Alaska. Fortunately, I do have a source for tapes, but I don't get to enjoy the season the way others do. I've given up on not being spoiled, btw, so don't worry ( Read more... )

Connor vs. Dawn anonymous September 29 2003, 16:43:56 UTC
I don't watch Angel much- actually I've seen less than half a dozen episodes, so my knowledge of Angel and Co. is extremely limited. But whenever I saw Connor, he was either throwing his Dad into the ocean, rigging a bunch of people in a department store with explosives (nice work on the explosives too, especially for an amateur), and fighting with his Dad in said department store. The kids nuttier than I am. If he was indeed Dawn's sister, I'm not sure they'd have a bickering relationship. More like a "I-am-so-not-related-to-you-nut-boy" and "I'll-kill-you-so-I-can-have-more-attention" relationship. But I don't know anything about Connor, or how he was born, so I'm just guessing here. Could someone enlighten me about this crazy kid and how he can exist? Thanks. Signed, Megalomaniac2.

P.S. Too bad you don't have any LiveJournal account codes left for me. Could you check with your minions/friends whether they could spare one for their future ruler? Thanks.

Connor began mysteriously. During Season 2, Angel and Darla had sex. Through bizarre mystical means, this caused Darla to become pregnant, even though vampires aren't supposed to be able to do that. It's later revealed that Jasmine (a powerful being with dreams of world domination) caused this pregancy to be possible. As Darla reached labor, Connor's soul began to affect her: she could feel remorse and love again. So, in order to allow her child to be born, she staked herself, leaving only Connor and a pile of ashes behind ( ... )

Thanks a lot for clearing that up! However, there's still the little matter of DARLA DYING IN SEASON 1!! Angel staked her just as she was about to blow the Slayer's brains out! Now I'm REALLY messed up... Help me out again here and I'll spare you and your loved ones when I conquer the world. Signed, Megalomaniac2.

P.S. What's your least favorite country, Italy or France?

Darla was resurrected by evil law firm W&H for the expressed purpose of messing with Angel. Which she did. Their scheme was so perfidious, though, that they didn't even settle for her giving him intense flashbacks to the Old Days via a magical drug. See, they brought her back human, with a soul. Angel did his level best to save that soul, and he nearly succeeded--but the moment she seemed to understand what humanity was, W&H brought in Drusilla and forcibly re-vamped her while Angel was forced to watch. Messed Angel up good and proper. Later, he shut a bunch of W&H lawyers up in a room with Darla and Dru, and needless to say, it did not all go well with said lawyers.

Ooh, please write this! After reading this, and all the comments, I think it could turn into a fascinating story. I really, really hope you'll do something with this. Kind of makes me wish I had writing talents of my own. Don't though; I just wait for people like you to do the hard stuff, so I get the fun of reading it. Can I also just say I have a real soft spot for both these kids? Jane
