He didn't flinch at Genesis' movements at his bad eye. Angeal sat docile. He liked to think he knew his friend; his intentions. At least in general. It was all these new complexities that had him confused and seeking questions that ended in unfinished and suddenly dropped conversations. It hurt him, like it hurt Genesis when he couldn't do something for Angeal, probably just as much if not a tad more.]

And the fact he was practically hooked up to a polygraph machine didn't help. His heart rate went up a few steps as the man walked into the room and made his way to him. He calmed himself, somehow, and decided to take a the coy path out of his fears. Truth-based humor.]
Sephiroth--.. [Then he backed out when he saw the seriousness in the youngers eyes. His pulse, again, rose.]

Angeal... what's wrong?
[He wasn't faking the concern, nor was he faking the way he looked from the older man in the bed to Genesis hovering nearby.]

She was trying not to laugh, although it was difficult. Going straight towards Angeal, she dimmed her smile a little, although she was still obviously happy to see him. "How are you feeling?" she asked, slipping a bag from behind her back, which had concealed a pair of scissors.

Having Aerith there seemed to calm him down about having Sephiroth here. Maybe with her in the room, he could relax a little more around. Well, keep his memories and emotions down, that is.

Only hesitating for a moment outside the hospital doors before rushing in, Angeal could hear those familiar scrambling footsteps echoing in the hallways as the student frantically searched for him. ]

But that was something Zack didn't need to know. At least he wasn't going to share openly. If Zack asked, he would only get an outline. Nothing vivid. He intended not to worry his student. And while he didn't know why Zack was pulled back home, but he got to relax. He wasn't going to worry him anymore than he already did.
He heard Zack popping in and out of rooms, calling for Angeal. He was far off, and had a way to go it seemed even though he was already on the third floor. With a grunt, Angeal took a breath then sighed it out again, scratching his head.] Zack. Three thirty-two. [He tried to boom his voice like before, at ShinRa. What he was used ( ... )

It probably would have been worse if he had seen any of the scars and pain that Angeal had gone through, but with Angeal not telling him, the evidence healed, and possibly no one else telling him...Zack would remain oblivious, unfortunately.
Those footsteps stopped outside the door and Zack let out a breath he had been holding in, and rested his hand on the door. The memories made him stop from bursting in, however, and there was a small thunk of his forehead hitting the door, keeping it closed for now. ]
...Angeal?

You can come in, Zack. You don't have anything to worry about.
[Maybe he did. Perhaps that was why he didn't come see him. He if there was one thing he remembered about Zack was that he needed the occasional encouraging push.]
