According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch (the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner.
So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis is rising, frogs are falling, tempers are flaring. Everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. I was looking through a list of banned books on Goodreads when I saw this one. Now since learning that they were making a mini series out of the book that would be out in May I have been meaning to read it and finally got a chance this last week. It was a really enjoyable book. I have never read anything by Terry Pratchett and only one short story by Neil Gaiman so I wasn't sure if I would like it. The story was quirky, funny, and clever. Honestly it reminded me of Douglas Adams and since I am a big fan of his this book was perfect for me.
