Currently reading this one. Have been looking forward to the series. I love Pratchett and Gaiman and this is indeed a quirky blend of both. I think Neil Gaiman has had to to extensive rewriting for the series though as it's pretty unfilmable as it stands.

Had no idea it was a banned book. How odd. Glad you enjoyed it.

I think Gaiman even said he had to change the ending somewhat. It will be interesting to see how close it is to the book.

Yes. I'm still not to the end of the book. I've not done much reading lately. Been watching a lot of films instead.

I didn't realize this book had been banned, but now that I think about it that doesn't surprise me.

There is definitely a similar flow to Adams. I loved how the hell hound manifested.

Yes I loved the hellhound and how it didn't want to change back. It was awesome.
