My first book for

ljbookbingo is A Caribbean Mystery by Agatha Christie for the Title Starts with the First Letter of your Name Square table found here:

As Miss Marple sat basking in the Caribbean sunshine, she felt mildly discontented with life. True, the warmth eased her rheumatism, but here in paradise nothing ever happened.

Eventually, her interest was aroused by an old soldier’s yarn about a murderer he had known. Infuriatingly, just as he was about to show her a snapshot of this acquaintance, the Major was suddenly interrupted. A diversion that was to prove fatal. ~Amazon Book Description

My name begins with an A so I have a lot of choices for this square, this book has been sitting on my tbr list for awhile and it was available through my library app.  I have loved Agatha Christies mysteries since I was a teen and since Mrs. Christie was such a prolific writer I plenty of her work still to choose from.  This was a very good mystery. I enjoyed the fact that Ms. Marple was out of her comfort zone and that setting was so different from her usual one in England or more specifically St. Mary Mead. Also the characters that surrounded her were very interesting and added to the overall atmosphere. I had not guessed the murderer and was surprised by who it turned out to be.  I have found myself growing more and more fond of Ms. Marple the more I read of her, she is very smart and observant.  I look forward to my next encounter with the pleasant older woman who although quiet and at times overlooked manages a great deal in the solving of various crimes!
