Well now. I'm sure that last post was a little enigmatic for most folks. "Why on earth would a Stevie Nicks song have the woman on the verge of tears? Maybe she really has gone daft."

Only  the few old time friends who drop by here occasionally might remember the reason. Though it was chosen because of mythology not the song, Rhiannon was the name I ( Read more... )

Ahhhhhh. I admit I did wonder. I was elbow deep in sauce and just taking a quick flist peek, or I might have attempted an inquiry last night.

I can definitely see why this is a tricky subject with you.

Menopausal type mood swings (which make ordinary PMS look like you've been drinking happy juice) haven't helped.

I hear ya. It's probably a good thing you hadn't yet met me last year, when I was Mood Swing Woman Of Scary Proportions. It was bad enough to cause the parting of the ways with me and some friends, until I figured out WTF was going on, and took on my new patron, Saint John of Wort.

Tis pre-menopausal for me, but still very disconcerting. I'll happily forgive you any outbursts.

I remember that story....I'm sure Sean is right now, chuckling, and heaving a sigh of relief over being born a boy...I always loved the Duigood?sp? part of his name.

Duguid. Scott's one request. A French part of his Scottish heritage, I surmise. On Scott's side he was also a direct descendent of both the legendary Hatfield's and McCoy's.

Interestingly, I've always liked the name Sean Patrick, which in my case would make him "Sean Patrick Thomas"...

It was Sean Patrick Flannery that used to amuse me. We were huge "Adventures of Young Indiana Jones" in our house.

Ack! I always forget he was a rare one "n" Flanery.

Sean suited him. The fates like to play like that. It was good for him.

The family story I got once was how I was supposed to be named, "Rothgar."
Like anyone knows Bewolf these days. Closest I came was bestowing it upon my "first-born" cat. So much for tradition. I understand the tears.

If there is anything I can do, please call.

Yes, it did. He just wouldn't have made a good Xavier.

I'm doing better, but thank you even so.

Speaking of calling, your phone number is one of the many that got lost in the whole new cell phone debacle, and my address database, like my recipe database is locked up in the old computer. Please give me a call sometime so I can get it reprogrammed.
