Summary: Jung Yunho is a rich, polite, perfect man. Kim Jaejoong is his obnoxious, and gay, best friend. Kim Junsu is a sultry, sexy and seductive man, that Yunho meets when Jaejoong brings him to a gay bar. Romance and humour ensues.
One - We Will Go Again Jung Yunho hasn’t received that much sleep the night before. It shows as he sips his morning coffee, hissing at the bitterness of the all-black coffee. They had run out of milk at the office, and he had sent Yoochun to run out and get some for him, but he wasn’t completely sure that the hooligan would come back in the next year. Sometimes, to be completely honest, Yunho isn’t sure why he hired him in the first place.
He had sent all night typing up the paper that Yoochun had failed to type up, and was now facing the aftermath. His head pounded with a headache, even with the pills that he had popped into his mouth before heading off to work. Jaejoong had driven them to work, thankfully, and was even kind enough to keep the volume low to his Kara until they were at least half-way to work, when Yunho had stated that his headache wasn’t that bad. Unfortunately, after he had ‘stepped it up!’ Yunho’s head had started hurting tenfold.
He moved the paper that sat on his desk just a little bit, wondering if the paper was really worth the lack of sleep and his headache. Realistically-no. He was sure that if he hadn’t finished it his boss wouldn’t be that mad; he would just order Yoochun to finish it by the end of the day. By the way-where was Yoochun with his milk?
“Someone looks grumpy~” Overly-excited Jaejoong chirps, entering his office with the latte that he had purchased from the Starbucks downstairs, a splash of pumpkin sprinkles on the top because of the recent Thanksgiving. Yunho rolls his eyes, slamming his head down onto his desk. Now he really did want Yoochun to come back with the milk. He was sure that he was about to fall asleep any moment now. “But hey, come to think of it-the grumpy look makes you look pretty straight.”
“Really?” Yunho asks, snapping his head up from his desk. Jaejoong starts laughing and Yunho groans, throwing his head back down onto the wooden desk, making his computer screen wobble a little.
Jaejoong sits in one of his chairs, throwing his feet up onto his desk, clutching his stomach to keep himself from doubling over with laughter. “Come on bro, you know that it was just a joke!” Yunho doesn’t raise his head. “Why is this gay-straight thing so important for you, anyways?”
Why was it such a big thing for him? Well, during the night, when he was working on the paper that he had to turn in today, he couldn’t help but remember the smile against Kim Junsu’s lips, the way that his legs and ass moved in those leather pants, or the bright colour in his eyes as he leaned in so close that Jung Yunho could see every line on his beautiful face. He couldn’t get the feeling of his tongue running down his ear, breathing hot air into his ear canal and exciting him beyond belief. He knew that he didn’t get these feelings from Jaejoong, Yoochun or Changmin. Only those vixen eyes and high-pitched laugh got him to feel this way.
And no, this was not a good feeling. Especially when you were trying to stay concentrated. He’s surprised that he had finished the report in the first place. He was sure it wasn’t going to happen.
“Let him be,” a voice booms, and Jaejoong scrambles up to his feet, pardoning himself and rushing back into his office, almost forgetting his latte, or spilling it, in the process.
“Morning, Yunho,” his boss, Kim Youngwoon says, sauntering into his office, his hands stuffed into his pockets and his thumbs moving back and forth excitedly. Yunho stands up and bows and he can hear his boss’s laughter from above him. He’s known Youngwoon for most of his life-and while most people think that is why Yunho got the job in the first place, anyone that was close to either Youngwoon or Yunho would know that at work, it was strictly boss-worker.
“Where’s Yoochun, do you know? I’ve been tempted to talk to him about some changes,” Youngwoon asks, looking around Yunho’s office. They don’t talk that much, which is a good thing, mainly because Yunho doesn’t have that many slip-ups compared to the others. Jaejoong and Yunho worked in the same sector, mainly because it would mean that they would be getting home roughly at the same time.
Yunho was the numbers; Jaejoong was the thought cloud. Jaejoong’s thought process could only be described as ‘different’, the only reason why Youngwoon hired him in the first place after asking if Youngwoon’s pet fish that he kept in his office could juggle, and if they could, how much money he would sell them off for. He was the one that made the commercials, new products, and created the new outlook for a new company. Jaejoong didn’t sit in meetings, that was Yunho’s job. With Yoochun and Kibum, Yunho controlled the money flow in the building, and created monthly reports to display how the money was being spent.
They both recently moved back to Korea, which explained their closeness. Kibum was a hard-worker, though, and most of the time was working through math problems on his phone or finishing up a project. Yoochun was more zealous, and could be found chatting up the awkward, not social secretary out front-Shim Changmin. Their office was pretty small, because the bigger offices were farther south. This was where anything big went down, of course.
“He went out to buy milk,” Yunho said, pointing to the black coffee that sat next to him. Youngwoon raised his eyebrows and nodded slowly, turning on his ankle, about to leave. That was one of the things that Yunho appreciated about his boss. Unlike Jaejoong and Yoochun, the social butterflies, one could have a conversation with Youngwoon in less than six minutes and have every answer that you needed.
Youngwoon hummed, “Just tell him to stop by my office soon; again, I need to talk to him. And oh yeah, I got you a secretary without asking for your permission and stuff.” He waved it off. “He’ll be coming any minute now, too. So look presentable. Take some more headache pills. Looks pretty serious.” And then, he walked out of Yunho’s office.
Yunho is on pins-and-needles for the next hour.
To be perfectly honest, the last time he had had a secretary was three years ago, with a carefree girl who called herself Dana. He remembers her well because of her funnier name, and the fact that Yoochun was hitting on her twenty-four/seven, and eventually she left for a different building because of ‘not feeling safe in the work place’. Yunho did not want a replay of that at all, and so he pushed Yoochun out of the office again, asking for 1% milk instead of 2% just to buy some time. Yoochun had left with a sigh, but not before complaining to Changmin about his terrible life.
“He’s here~” Jaejoong chimes from across the way in his office. He could see much farther down the hall by how their offices were set up, and the giddiness in Jaejoong’s voice did not help with the unsettling feeling that had grown and had started moving around inside of his stomach. Jaejoong moves into Yunho’s line of sight and winks. No, not helping.
Yunho can hear the sound of the man’s shoes as he walks down the carpeted hallway towards his office. He stood up when he found that they were louder, closer. He smoothed down his hair, trying not to hair the snickers coming from Jaejoong’s office, and placed his hands down on his desk to try to look professional, even if he was shaking on the inside.
“Mr. Jung Yunho?” a high-pitched voice called, and he looked up from his notes on his desk to look at the person that had poked their head into his office. He almost dropped his jaw. Almost.
For the person that stands in front of his office is none other but the man that he had seen last night, dressed in red and black, that spark in his eyes and the words of sex and lust upon his glistening lips. That fox-like look hasn’t left his eyes, even if now he wears a suit, and his blonde hair is down, the tips brushing his brown eyes. He wears a gray suit and a red tie, with shiny work shoes, carrying a messenger bag over his shoulder.
“I guess my office is the one right beside yours?” Kim Junsu asks, a mischievous smirk placed on his lips.
