This is excellent. Lovely characterization, lovely writing. Melancholy, but hopeful, and with a touch of wry humor. Perfectly them.

Will it be up on Teaspoon? I'd like to favorite it, but if it's going up there I'll add it to that folder, as my LJ memories are super crowded.

This made me cry. In a very good way. But I can't properly review when I'm still so deep in my emotional reaction to a piece. I will return to do so later, when my head clears from this and I read it at least once more. Still, I'll be recommending this to others. Just, whoa.
