Awww, man, this fic is just way too much fun. Between uncomfortable Rory and pouty Eleven . . . I almost feel guilty for enjoying this. Almost. Why must they be so deliciously tormentable? And I found this section particularly full of those quirky, amusing details you do so well <3

"I actually voted for you as the person I'd like to wait out danger with."
Ummm, small crit? I found the dialogue just in this section a little confusing: starting from this line, I couldn't quite tell who was talking. Just a little "said River" or something like that should clear it up, I think.

I think it's safe to reveal you're also the only person the Doctor would consider growing savoury onions with.
Lol--much my feelings on Rory too.

"Mmm, and that pathetic noise you keep making... also a direct result or..?"
"Could be!"
The whole "tieless" exchange--I can just see it. And it is delightful.

"Right. I'll settle for being quite, quite mad, then."
Still my favorite line, even in expanded form--so very Rory and so very Doctor <3

It's so interesting to explore the parts of their characters that aren't just awesomeness. I feel so guilty writing it... but everyone will get a chance to shine before it's 'the end'. ;)

This is very cute and I'd very much like to leave a comment about all the clever little lines I love and the details I enjoyed, but I'm still completely distracted by and in love with

List of things I love:

-That we get to see this story unfold for both River-Rory and Amy-Doctor. There is a special hilarity and charm to both those pairings.

-The fact that even the Doctor's clothes are special. And the fact that River knows that. How does she know that? *Imagines all the ways and smiles*

-That River makes reference to a future event that's funny and light. That she voted to wait out in a dangerous situation with Rory. That the Doctor voted to grow savory onions with him.

-It's fantastic to get an opportunity to see Rory as more than a simple brand of comic relief. He's adding more dimensions.

-Amy babysitting the Doctor. Brilliant.

-Soap Bubble Farm! I wanna go!

-The fact the Doctor can't stay away.

-The TARDIS.

-The fact that the Doctor is trying to figure out if Humans under 30 get in free! Hahahahahaha!

-The ending line. Love it.
