Oh man, they didn't see the truth, that Sam was a good guy...that hurts!

I found this to be a very good imagining of how this scenario might go. Only I kinda think one of the boys would have gotten the civilians out quicker...but then you wouldn't have your story...

Heh, well I'm certainly not the only guilty party when it comes to tweaking S&D's behavior to suit the needs of whatever the plot happens to be. I guess Dean's just in a really bad mood and has no desire to hassle with civilians at the moment. I'm sure he would've gotten around to it...eventually.

(Also: I love this story! And Sam's old college friends might be freak out, but I love seeing the boys amidst mayhem and slaughter).

I love this and want to hate it as well. Not hate the story but the fact that those numbskulls didn't get that Sam and Dean SAVED their collective asses. But I loved the delicious angst of it all, too.

Sorry if I am not making any sense. Hahaha. But this was indeed very well-written and the BAMF!boys is awesome. :-)

Delicious angst! It'd be no fun at all if people didn't automatically assume all sorts of crazy things about the Winchesters and just said, 'Of course, these guys are heroes.' (And even with all the saving going on, it was pretty bloody and violent, so either way they'd probably be freaking out. ;)

And yes! More with the BAMF-y slaughtering of evil things and what-all! Glad you enjoyed!

Wow, I bet the FBI came later, when Hendrickson was on their trail. I bet he painted a crazy picture of Sam to his old friends. I can imagine Sam entering a room and looking very scary indeed. Interesting! I do love other POV stories! :)

You'd think the word would be thank you- and maybe a little suspicion that what they see, then and now, is true, not what they heard from somebody else.

OTOH-"Older, broader, spattered in blood and mean as hell" would generate a certain concern...
