Heading out this morning
I don't know if I'll have internet access for the next 5 days so here is a post!
I enjoyed it! I've been saying for a while how badly i want a monster!POV ep, and even though we didn't really get bad guy SamnDean,I still found it pretty satisfying. I definitely didn't emotionally connect to the characters, and was pretty much just waiting for them to die...which they mostly did! But I liked it overall, it was brisk and not terribly exposition-heavy, and frankly sometimes it's nice to have an ep with a minimum of Winchester angst and a little more straight-up horror and monsters. Definitely a thumbs up for me.
In other news:
I was trying really hard to finish the new chapter for the older!Sam-younger!Dean fic, and got most of it done, but being all burnt out and stuff I didn't quite get there. It's now over 4500 words. I still have a scene to finish, proofreading, etc. I wanted to post it before I had to leave, but looks like it'll have to wait! I'm going to try to write the last scene while I'm away though. *crosses fingers*
