I said "fuck it" last night, finished charging my comp then went to my mom's. After that, I drove home, said "fuck it" and tossed Gavs in the car to go back to Mom's. I'm so glad you went to your Mom's last night after all and that you're going to the shelter today. And I'm hoping with all my might that you will have your power restored soon. *hugs you tight*

I just had no idea what sort of damage that storm caused until seeing your posts. First the tornadoes last spring, then this. :( I'm just again, so sorry. Stay as warm as you can! *hugs*

i hope the power is back on quicker than they said. Let's hope so. I've been reading that the tree damage (and power lines down as a result) is greater in the northeast than it was during the tornado last spring. Is that true for your area too?

Love you Honey. Wish I could help you. I've been without electricity for 4 days before but not with snow all over. It was when we had hurricane Ike come through and Steve was in hospital for crushed ankle. I am glad you went to mom's and are going to the shelter.
