I have come to a very important, if not completely rational conclusion. It's been in my head for a long, long time, but new tidbits of information has me posting about it
( Read more... )
Not to blow any holes in this theory, but, I do need to make a small correction here...
In regards to Sin City, directly from Robert and Frank Miller at Comic Con the year it came out, Josh's part at the beginning of the film was the very first thing filmed, even before Frank had agreed to let Robert do the film. That was the clip Robert used to convince Frank to let him do it. Since there wasn't any approval yet, casting hadn't even been considered (Frank's notorious about not wanting his stuff put on film) and if I remember the panel correctly, Lij kinda hounded Robert to give him the role. :)
I knew about that, yea. I'm a Josh-nut, remember? ;) That scene was what made Miller say "I give, YES." We owe Josh so much! :D
BEING a Josh-Lij-nut altogether creates complete and rational arguments. What I was mainly getting at was how they weren't reported about in any after-parties, making-out etc. after the films release. Remember too, there was that TEENY bit near the end with The Man in the elevator. So he came back. Yet alas, their bitter affair has prevented any amicable 'moving on', and the media is Lij's sounding-board when it comes to how he feels about Josh.
No, the entire reason--entire reason--was to keep Lij and Josh separated, so their long-distance media sniping didn't turn into an outright brawl. Any other factors are secondary, mere afterthoughts.
Cannot the whole world recognize that when you're right, baby, you're so right?
You make some very good points here, and while I've never had any problem believing Elijah was gay, I wasn't so sure about Josh and am surprised to hear you think so.
Elijah dumping on Pearl Harbor doesn't seem like him, but he is pretty free with his opinions on the arts, especially music. He said Jared Leto's band sucked, which caused a nasty confrontation between the two. Elijah worked with Leto, too, so can we speculate that his attack on 30 Seconds To Mars was personal in nature and not just about the music?
One minor correction. Christopher McDonald played Mr. Connor. Michael McDonald is a singer, formerly with The Doobie Brothers.
I can see him as bi, most def. Rock Hudson, remember? *wink*
And yea, the PH-bashing is so true it ain't real. He hates that and Godzilla with a white-hot passion. And sure! Speculate 'til you're blue in the face, just as I did, with all seriousness and unyieldingness as I did. In other words, ;).
I can't say as I see enough proof here that they were lovers, but I certainly believe something happened to end their friendship and leave them bitter toward each other. I've wondered about that ever since I heard what Elijah said about Pearl Harbor.
So everything I said MEANS NOTHING TO YOU. Yea, sure, I get it. Fine. Deny all you want... i nose the trooth.
Perhaps you have a point, however. Doing themselves into oblivion or not, there is obvious discord. But they WERE doing it. So you'd just better reassess your investigatory abilities and blindly follow mine until you get yourself in check. One look at my tags should tell you that it is me, h&V, who 'knows all'. The sooner you accept me into your life and pray for truth and forgiveness, the better. :D
