Two completely unrelated things... well, three.

This just popped into my mind tonight; I'd thought about it recently, and it just makes me laugh.

This is what my 8 to 9-year old self *actually believed* she could do... )

ridiculous-me, funny

No shinola! Wouldn't that be awesome? You could put your clock back to when they'd just started filming LotR, sit in the field RIGHT before they show up and be like "Oh, hi!" You'd get thrown in jail, but hey-- if you have a watch on, all ya gotta do is set back the time to before you got arrested, while STILL having the experience of having met the cast and crew!
Man, if only I were around to help the likes of H.G. Wells and George Orwell. Their stuff woulda been so much better.
Yep. :D

Those two shows were my childhood favourites! Eric Bana, no matter how hot, is simply not the same as Bill Bixby and I can't look at Melissa Gilbert without thinking of Little House on the Prairie. Along with loads others - The Invisible Man, Starsky & Hutch ( very slashy ), Space 1999 etc etc.

*is nostalgic*

Haha! Isn't it awesome? I love Bixby! He WAS David Banner, all the way. :)

I loved the Incredible Hulk, too. (See icon) My dad had a small role on an episode of My Favorite Martian, and he still talks about what a sweet man Bill Bixby was, how kind and enthusiastic, and what a pleasure it was to work with him. And he had three hit shows, too! That's pretty rare.

I was saaaad when he died.

Oh wow! I loved him, too; how awesome that you have that connection! I was pretty bummed out when he died, as well. It's always sad to lose anyone you like in such ways. *sighhhh*
