He especially enjoyed her attire.
"Bonnie," He smiled, beaming with charm. "I feel like I haven't seen you in awhile. What have you been up to?"

Well, that wasn't true. But so he wouldn't question the lie, she looked up at him from beneath her lashes and added, "Well, I was thinking about parts of you anyway."
She grinned then, patting the spot on the couch beside her. "Come, sit down. Tell me what you've been doing." A brief pause. "Unless you were on your way somewhere?"
Knowing Face, he probably had plans to seduce someone this evening. Bonnie didn't want to interrupt him or anything.

He proceeded to relate how he and the others had gone back for the children left behind and how that ordeal had turned out. Of course, he kept an eye on Bonnie, emphasizing certain parts more than others, depending on her reaction. After all, it was no good if he didn't impress her to some extent.
"Where have you been?" He inquired at the end. "I haven't seen you around."

"So you're practically a hero," she said with a smile, swinging her legs up and draping them over his lap. She hadn't missed the look over he'd given her. Frankly, that was one of her favorite things about Face. She always walked away from conversations with him feeling good about herself, if in the most shallow way possible. "I've always been attracted to men who put themselves in dangerous situations."
And that one wasn't a lie.
As for where she'd been, Bonnie gave a shrug. "Nowhere special. I guess I holed myself up in my room a lot. I haven't been feeling too great." Not feeding often enough would do that do a vampire. She was losing some of her superhuman strength and agility, and was even beginning to find herself dizzy some days. "I'm feeling better now, though."
