As soon as she was released from her cell, Cassandra walked with purpose, hoping to find Ianto. Unfortunately, she had no idea where to begin. She was completely disoriented and had no basis for anything. It was very much against her nature to move in the direction of massive amounts of people, but that was precisely what she did, swimming upstream and dodging any sort of bodily contact from any of the strangers ( ... )

Finn was glad to be out of the cells, though the uncertainty that being set free brought made him more than a little anxious. What was this castle like? Where were they? What was going on?

Yeah. He had a lot of questions.

Not the least of which was who was this hot lady and why did she know Ianto? He came to a stop, grabbing at Kurt's shirt to hold him back so Ianto and the woman could have some semblance of privacy.

From his place, a step behind Ianto, Kurt jutted to a halt and shot Finn a withering frown. Filthy or not, that shirt was Dolce & Gabbana and didn't need unnecessary crinkles to add to its demise. You just didn't kick a garment when it was down.

"Finn, really." He pried Finn's hand from his shirt and returned his attention to Ianto's back, then around it, over to who he could only assume was Cassandra. She was pretty, Quinn Fabray pretty with dark eyes and dark hair, pulled back, and though her outfit was a little worse for wear, smudged with dust and dirt that was presumably from sitting in a squalid cell, it was still aesthetically appealing. A shame about the mess, really -- that corset was spectacular.

He hung back, though, looking over her hair (a lot to work with) and her features (those eyes would carry smoky eyeshadows admirably), his chin raised and his arms crossed over his chest.

"Cassandra," Ianto returned, but did move forward. In fact, he took half a step back, arms spread slightly the side as if to cover the boys behind him. An instinctual protective move. His sixteen-year-old self would have scoffed at calling that age young, but God, it was, and Cassandra was even more of an unknown than everything else about this place. He needed to stay on his guard.

She was gorgeous, though. Of course. A god had fallen in love with her. It all made sense, provided one allowed for the existence of gods, but Ianto still hadn't quite anticipated it. She'd turn heads. Like Jack.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow slightly at the way Ianto was protecting the boys. It certainly confirmed her theory about the smaller one being his nephew, but it was a little bit off-putting. Did he thinks he was some kind of a threat? Really, that was absurd, but she decided not to say so. Instead, she merely shifted her hands so that he could see them, that they were empty and that they were perfectly harmless. She wasn't terribly obvious about it, but she trusted in Ianto's intelligence.

"You're younger than I remember," she noted curiously. Better looking, too. But that might have been her Jack bias talking.

She glanced from side to side, at the stream of people moving through the halls. "Perhaps we should find someplace a little quieter to talk? Who are your young friends here?"
